Trenchless pipelining is a sewer pipe repair process that involves cleaning out a sewer line and installing an epoxy lining that seals the entire inside of the pipe which prevents leaking, keeps storm water out of the pipe, and stops roots from growing into the pipe.  All of this is done through an access point so a trench does not need to be dug to access and replace the sewer line. The process has been third party verified to last a minimum of 50 years and is much less expensive than digging up a sewer line.

Brief overview:

• Everything starts with a visual inspection using a sewer camera.
• Then roots and debris are cleaned out of the pipe and the sewer line is pressure washed from the inside.
• After this, the pipe liner is prepared with special epoxies.
• Using state of the art tools and equipment, the liner is maneuvered into the pipe where it is pressurized and then steam cured.
• The equipment is removed and a visual camera inspection is done to confirm everything is perfectly sealed.

In most situations, yes.  That is one of the biggest savings that pipe lining can provide, saving the roadway from being broken up and needing replacement or repair. 

In the rights of way in sanitary manhole locations, as this is a non invasive construction method. The works will only show minor activity in the roadway with no debris or issues.
